Signal Integrity Engineer
Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Signal Integrity (SI) Engineer to join our hardware design team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-speed analog and digital signal integrity across electronic systems. You will work closely with PCB / package / chip designers, and hardware engineers to optimize chip, package, and board connectivity and layouts.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform signal integrity analysis and simulations (pre- and post-layout) for high-speed digital and analog interface.

· Collaborate with PCB / package / chip design teams to guide layer stack-up, trace routing, and BGA and via design for optimal signal quality.

· Analyze and mitigate signal integrity impairments including crosstalk, reflection, skew, and impedance mismatch.

· Perform power integrity (PI) analysis to ensure robust power delivery to ICs.

· Develop test plans and validate signal integrity using lab equipment (e.g., high-speed oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs).

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in signal integrity engineering or high-speed digital design.

· Proficient in SI/PI simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, Sigrity).

· Strong understanding of transmission line theory, high-speed signaling, and electromagnetic fundamentals.

· Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium, or Mentor Graphics).

· Hands-on experience with lab equipment for SI validation.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with advanced packaging (e.g., SiP, chiplets, interposers).

· Experience modeling signal integrity through standard connectors

· Experience modeling signals up to 100 GHz

· Knowledge of SERDES, jitter analysis, eye diagram analysis, and equalization techniques.

· Familiarity with standards compliance (e.g., IEEE, JEDEC, USB-IF).

· Experience working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
